So, I've really wanted to do some photomanipulations with horses lastely... let me tell you, horses are a LOT harder than they seem. <_< Freakin paths tool = death. I tried a new technique for cutting out the horse (usually I just use the eraser tool) and it completely failed. Never doing that again.

Anyway... the firery mane was actually an accident at first. i was going to have his BACK on fire but when I hit paste with the image, it landed close to the neck and I was like "Hmm...." so I started fiddling with it until it looked good.

The first time I did this image, Gimp completely failed and died half-way through. So I changed backgrounds and restarted. The first one was more greenish and had less 'land' it was more like a foggy water type thing.

Anyway.... enjoy.
